My health journey started in 2008 when I was first diagnosed with endometriosis. A disease I didn't know much about back then.
I clearly remember how frustrated I felt the first time I was told that there was nothing I could do, but take medication up until I reach menopause in order to manage my symptoms. Medication that comes along with a long list of side effects. I had to choose between feeling sick from the treatment or being sick from the disease. I felt hopeless.
Years went by and I couldn't stop asking myself two particular questions. Why is this happening to me and how can I improve my quality of life? In the search of answers, I began reading different books on the topic of nutrition and holistic health. This is how I first came across the plant-based diet, which I ended up adopting later on the same year.
Feeling the benefits of consuming more plants, my curiosity grew bigger and I decided to enrol with the Natural Nutrition program of the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition. Not only did this experience give me so much insight about the importance of eating a balanced diet, but it also taught me a very important missing piece- the impact stress levels, emotions and mindset have on our well-being.
Today, I no longer perceive myself as a victim of an incurable disease with no known cause. On the contrary, I see myself as a warrior and proactivist. My disease made me who I am today and I am here to share my knowledge and experience with you.
I approach each of my clients individually, but there are three common things I say to all of them:
There is always something you can do to improve your quality of life and feel better!
Taking your health into your own hands is so empowering!
I'm here to support and guide you!
If you struggle with low energy, moodiness, poor sleep quality, decreased libido, PMS, infertility, painful/irregular menstrual periods or transitioning to menopause, or you simply want to adopt a plant-based diet, I can help you.
